Currently: October Edition
Hello lovelies,
Today I am trying something a little new and I hope you enjoy it as much as I think I will. I have seen these types of posts around the blogosphere lately and have been wanting to try this format myself. I am linking up with Anne of In Residence and her guest host Dana from Something Good Blog.
Basically, once a month I’ll be sharing some current info about myself in several different areas. So here we go!
Styling
Hair~ As in haircuts. Did you know I was once a hairdresser? Now you know a little something more about me 😉 That being said, I need to give everyone in the family a haircut and now that the kids are getting into their teens and preteens, they all want something “stylish”.
Saving
Seeds! I’m trying to get in the habit of saving my own seeds during the harvest. Usually the easiest are the squash and pumpkins, don’t you think?
Searching
Christmas gifts. I like starting in the late summer/fall because I can usually find some excellent deals. Do you do this too? Or do you wait and shop in the last month before Christmas?
Picking
The last of the little bit of stuff in the garden. Which isn’t much I must say. Last night we had our first killing frost so I’m glad I got most of it all picked.
Making
Christmas baking! Yes I am trying to make a bunch of Christmas baking and freeze it ahead of time. Once the cooler temperatures hit, I just want to be in my kitchen baking and cooking yummy things. I haven’t done this for awhile so it should be interesting.
How about you? What are you currently Styling, Saving, Searching, Picking and Making?
Again I am linking up with Anne at In Residence.

I’m starting my Christmas shopping now too! I want to be able to enjoy the Christmas season and not have to worry about last minute gift shopping!
Wow, you are on TOP of this upcoming holiday stuff! If my kitchen weren’t torn up right now for a remodel I might consider it, because it really does sound nice to be baking when the weather is turning to fall, doesn’t it?
Thanks so much for joining in – happy to have you!
Thanks Anne! I am really enjoying your link up. And if my kitchen were torn up I wouldn’t want to be baking either! Lol
I’m so impressed that you on the ball and tackling the Christmas baking. Good for you!
Hi Carrie, Thanks so much for your lovely comment!
