Super Easy Crockpot Apple Butter
This super easy Apple butter crockpot recipe is so simple you basically set it and forget it for a day when you are at home getting other stuff done. It is smooth and buttery with a hint of spice and wonderful to give as a gift.

Ingredients:
8 cups of applesauce
4 cups of sugar
4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons of ground allspice
2 teaspoons of ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons of ground cloves
Directions:
Stir all ingredients together well in a large bowl. Transfer to a crockpot and cook, UNCOVERED, on high for 6 to 7 hours. It isn’t necessary to stir it. Cool and place into containers. Keep refrigerated or may be frozen.
Try this delicious and easy crockpot apple butter recipe for breakfast on your morning oatmeal or go a little fancier and have it on pancakes or wrapped up with some maple smoked bacon in some crepes. For dinner you could even put it with some caramelized onions on pork chops. YUM!!
