The Best Homemade Warm and Cold Apple Drinks for Fall
Fall time is just so full of rich colours and flavours. Who doesn’t love cozying up to a bonfire in the fall with some nice warm mittens and a nice warm spicy fruity drink? The taste of apple is certainly a favourite fall flavour in our home, and if you were to come over for for a meal you would find it in a variety of dishes from fruit cobblers to pies, but what about fall time drinks?
You’ve probably encountered store bought apple cider at some point, but are you aware that there are a ton of drinks that contain apple that you can make yourself? If you would like to learn about some drinks that use apples in many forms, then I’m sure you will enjoy today’s article.
Best Homemade Apple Drinks for Fall
Apple Harvest Punch (non-alcoholic)
This first drink should be the easiest to make on this list. Apple harvest punch only needs four ingredients. You simply need about 1 litre (approximately 32-ounces) of  apple juice, a can of frozen berry juice, 1 cup of orange juice, and about a liter of sparkling soda water. The sparkling soda will give it that festive kick a good punch needs. You can always use diet or light versions of the juice to make this lighter and reduce the overall sugar content. We love to make it with our friends’ fresh pressed apple juice that we try and help with the pressing with every fall.
Apple Spice Smoothie
This drink is relatively healthy and can be made without a lot of prep. Apples are great for your digestive health, as well as fiber to help keep your intestines clean. Spinach has a few agents that promote anti-inflammatory action in the body as well. All you need to do is blend a peeled and cored apple, a cup of almond milk, about 14 spinach leaves, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and a cup of ice. I know my kids love a good smoothie and they are a great way to add lots of healthy fruits and vegetables to their diet.
Apple Pie Punch DrinkÂ
Here is another simple drink you can make that guest will love enjoy, only this one is a little more and the party side. Take an apple and slice it thinly. Then pour 4 cups of apple cider, 2 cups of pear nectar, and 3 cups of ginger ale into a large pitcher. Spike this punch vodka to your tastes, and you will have a party drink that will get everyone out on the dance floor.
Fall Honey Apple Ryder Drink
This drink might make you the popular host of all time. To make it properly, you first have to infuse some gin with apples by putting a sliced apple in a mason jar and pouring gin over it to let it sit for 3 days. Once it’s turned a yellowish color it should be ready. You then take the apple gin, and mix it with equal parts vodka, and a half ounce of lillet blanc. Shake with ice and garnish with a twist of lemon for a delicious and memorable drink!
