White Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe
The snow is falling, it feels like winter and Christmas, it is time for a hot chocolate I believe… But not just any hot chocolate, this decadent white peppermint hot chocolate!
This warm drink is perfect on a lazy Sunday morning, as a special after school snack, or go all out and make it a new tradition to have this as a special Christmas morning treat. Easy and delicious, what more could you ask for?
White Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 8 ounces white chocolate chopped
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Instructions
- Place the chocolate in a large microwave safe measuring cup.
- Add the milk and whipping cream.
- Stir in the peppermint extract.
- Microwave the cocoa on high for 5 minutes.
- Remove and stir until the chocolate has completely melted.
Notes
Make sure you top your white peppermint hot chocolate cup with whipped cream and either, a peppermint candy cane or sprinkles, for the ultimate peppermint hot chocolate experience!
